About Vector Electric
Meet Brandon
Fourth-generation electrician. Mountain Home roots.
I’m Brandon Johnson, owner of Vector Electric LLC and a fourth-generation electrician. I got my start after school sorting electrical parts for my grandfather and father’s business in Mountain Home, Idaho. At 18, I became a licensed apprentice.
My experience has taken me from work on Mountain Home Air Force Base to electrical shops throughout the valley. I’ve worked on manufactured buildings, street lighting, and residential, commercial, and industrial troubleshooting and installations.
With my journeyman and contractor licenses, I started Vector Electric in spring 2026. My goal is to provide quality electrical work while building a business where people interested in the trade can learn, solve problems together, and keep improving—including me.
I believe customers should understand what’s happening with their project. When I find an issue, I explain it and discuss how it should be addressed based on its severity and the scope of the work. If we make a mistake, we take responsibility and correct it promptly. I want you to be happy with both the work and your experience with us.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with friends and family—camping, fishing, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, and biking. I also enjoy playing piano and working on projects that give me something new to learn. That curiosity has led me to explore electrical controls and home automation, gaining hands-on experience through projects in my own home.
